Spreading Joy: A Heartwarming Update on NewAldaya Lifescapes’ Adopt-a-Resident Program

The holiday season at NewAldaya Lifescapes was truly magical this year, thanks to the incredible success of our Adopt-a-Resident Program. We’re excited to share heartwarming stories and photos capturing the joy that residents experienced as they received thoughtful gifts from our generous community members.

Program Recap:

1. Resident Participation:
   • Approximately 105 ICF/SNF residents received presents from either community members or NewAldaya Lifescapes.
   • Eight residents, not initially adopted, were surprised with gifts through the generosity of a staff member, CCC member, and their coworkers.
2. Community Engagement:
   • An astounding 29 community members actively participated in the program, spreading joy to our residents.
   • The NewAldaya Lifescapes team, with the support of 48 staff members, played a significant role in making the holidays special for our residents.
   • Two Independent Living residents from NewAldaya also joined in, contributing to the spirit of giving.
3. Expressing Gratitude:
   • Every staff and community member who participated in the program received a heartfelt thank-you card.
   • Residents, with the assistance of staff when needed, expressed their gratitude through these cards.
   • Cards were sent to community members, and staff members had the option of having them hand-delivered.
